How we handle your data

    Privacy by default

    Your profile is private by default. Public visibility is something you choose to turn on — never something you have to opt out of.

    No systematic discovery

    Profile links use identifiers that can't be guessed or enumerated. There's no way to systematically crawl the full member directory by incrementing a URL.

    Real enforcement, not just hidden buttons

    Access controls — admin permissions, company approval, moderation actions — are checked on our servers, not just hidden in the interface. A restriction that only exists in what you can see isn't a real restriction.

    Earned status, not self-declared

    Our Wild tier requires real evidence and human review — not a checkbox. Status on Kiti means something because it was actually evaluated.

    You approve what's public

    Auto-discovered content — like bylines we find through your public work — sits in a review queue. Nothing publishes under your name without you confirming it first.

  6. 06

    Honest numbers, or none at all

    We don't display activity counts, testimonials, or trends we can't back up with real data. If something's quiet, we say it's quiet.
